Irish Draught Horse
The Irish Draught horse is the national horse breed of Ireland. It was originally bred for farm use. Today, they are especially popular for crossing with Thoroughbreds and warmbloods, producing the popular Irish Sport Horses. The horses are now popular hunter, eventing, jumper and dressage horses. The breed standard height is 15.1 hands to 16.3 hands. Solid colors are preferred. They are very docile, gentle, have large bones and joints and they are very powerful. This is a gray mare.
