Tay Rail Bridge Looking To Dundee
The Tay Rail bridge taking from the wormit side looking towards Dundee, the old supports still seen to the right of the bridge. In 1879 the bridge collapsed when a train was crossing causing the lives of 75 people to be lost. Due to that accident the bridge was rebuilt, however the origional arch supports are still visible as a chilling reminder of the bridges tragic past.
