One of many bridges on the Naples-Middlesex trail; the former Lehigh Valley Naples Branch. Because the land was so flat, the creek crossed the railbed many times, so they needed many bridges. They are all of the same wooden construction. Seem to be in good shape. Of course, they'll rot out eventually and will need to be replaced. I hope the DEC has a plan to do so. Would be a shame to have the trail cut in half. Image provided by Yahoo!/Flickr and shared under a Creative Commons license for research purposes only.
